Tibetan Spice Kopan Masala Blend


Tibetan cuisine reflects the landscape of the surrounding high mountains and influences from neighboring countries. Grains are a staple of Tibetan cuisine, due to the harsh climes, not much else can be cultivated. Vegetables are few and people rely on their animals for sustenance. Our spice blend, also called "Kopan Masala" can be used to season root and cruciferous vegetables, rice dishes, pork and lamb.

Ingredients: pepper, cardamom, cilantro, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cumin, nutmeg, salt, black mustard seeds, ground juniper berries, fenugreek, ginger, turmeric.
