Berbere is an Ethiopian hot spice blend -- the name means "hot" in Amharic. Fantastic as a rub for meat, poultry and fish, a seasoning for stews, soups, grains and vegetables. Essential to many Ethiopian dishes, including Doro Wot and Misr Wot.
Ingredients: allspice, pepper, cardamom, chili powder, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, fenugreek, garlic, ginger, nutmeg, onion, paprika, salt.
