Panch Phoron Bengali Five Spice


Unlike most spice mixes, panch phoron is often used whole and rarely ground. It's also found partially ground with large seeds throughout. Used traditionally with vegetables, chicken or beef curry, fish, and lentils.

Ingredients: black mustard seeds, cumin, fennel, ground fenugreek, nigella (charnushka).
