Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, it’s a good time to heat up the oven and enjoy some homemade comfort food.  Pizza answers the call and pleases many in my picky family. Italian Meatballs

1 lb ground hamburger meat 1 egg, beaten 1 cup plain breadcrumbs 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp milk 1 tbsp Home Cook’s Pantry Italian Meatball Seasoning 2 tbsp olive oil 24 oz marinara sauce In a mixing bowl, blend together by hand hamburger meat, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, milk and Italian Meatball Seasoning. Form 1-inch meatballs. In a skillet on stove, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Brown meatballs, turning frequently, then cover with marinara sauce. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through. Yields 18-20 meatballs.

Quick & Delicious Homemade Pasta Sauce

Start by sautéing 1 small diced yellow onion, two cloves of minced garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat for a few minutes.  For traditional gravy, add in 1 pound of hamburger or Italian sausage at this point, then drain when it's browned.  You can also add in diced bell peppers and mushrooms as well. Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning and stir well.  Add in 1/2 cup of red wine or any kind of stock -- beef, chicken, or vegetable -- whatever you like.  Bring to a boil for 5 minutes to reduce.  Add in 1 large...
